Willkommen!

"For I am not ashamed of this Good News about Christ. It is the power of God at work saving everyone who believes." Romans 1:6

Trinity Lutheran Church in Stonewall, Texas, would love to welcome you into our community of faith! We’ve been a beacon of light in the Hill Country for nearly 120 years. We are affiliated with the Lutheran Congregations in Mission for Christ (LCMC) movement. As such, “we view the local church as the place where people in the community come to get connected with God and one another.” And, we celebrate the differences in people which produce in us our own unique strengths, skills and talents. We would love for you to join us on Sunday morning and become a part of our family.

To Know God and Make Him Known

“I have had the privilege of serving here at Trinity for 14 years with a good number of faithful, caring people. My goal in all of this is to help folks look beyond right and wrong and seek the heart of God because the closer we get to God’s heart, the closer we come to actually overcoming the brokenness of our lives. “To know God and make Him known” is my job first and that of the congregation with me. We welcome with joy those who are ready to take on this challenge and those who have open hearts for the grace of God. I do not specialize in sin, but mercy for sinners. Seems like what Jesus did.”

Pastor Percy Smerek
